Selesai Sudah 'Men Are From Mars Women Are From Venus'

Alhamdulillah......malam tadi aku dah khatamkan buku John Gray yang bertajuk 'Men Are From Mars Women Are From Venus' setelah hampir 3 minggu.........biasela,jarang baca buku omputih,so bile sesekali baca ni,slow la sikit....

Sedikit kesimpulan yang aku nak ambil dari 2 muka surat terakhir buku ini sekadar utk perkongsian sesiapa sahaja yang membaca entry aku kali ini yang mungkin tidak sempat atau terlalu sibuk dengan tugasan seharian yang tidak pernah ada penghujungnya.Mungkin dengan sedikit kesimpulan yang aku ambil dari buku ini membuatkan anda semua tertarik utk membaca buku ni......

          'To be successful in our relationships we must accept and understand the different seasons of love.Sometimes love flows easily and automatically;at other times it requires effort.Sometimes our hearts are full and other times we are empty.We just not expect our partners to always be loving or even to remember how to be loving.We must also give ourselves this gift of understanding and not expect to remember everything we have learned about being loving.

Kata2 di atas aku cuba ungkapkan pada diriku sendiri berulang kali setiap kali aku rase 'takut' dengan cabaran yang bakal aku tempuh pada next semester (short sem).......

Seperti yang pernah aku ceritakan pada entri sebelum ni, ketika aku diberitahu yang aku bakal mengajar mathII for biological sc,medical,pharmacy,nursing n allied health sc,aku mula merasa cabaran yang bakal aku tempuh.

Mengajar sesuatu subjek/topik yang bukan dalam minat kita ibarat kita terjun ke dalam swimming pool yang dalamnya 5 kaki dlm keadaan yang kita tahu diri sendiri akan lemas sebab tidak tahu berenang (sekadar perumpamaan sendiri).

Tp,kadang2 manusia itu tidak mempunyai pilihan........mulai hari inimsaat ini dan ketika ini,aku perlu sedar bahawa itu merupakan tanggungjawab aku sebagai seorang guru.Ada guru lain yang jauh lebih lagi kurang bernasib baik dari aku di mana Ijazahnya dalam Matematik tetapi dila di postingkan,die terpaksa mengajar subjek Pendidikan Islam/Pendidikan Jasmani disbbkan kurangnya bilangan cikgu dalam bidang tersebut.

Aku perlu bersyukur,walaupun aku diberi tugas utk mengajar MathII (di mana chapter mengenai probability yang me'nakutkan' aku),it is still about math.....not biology nor physics nor chemistry.........Oleh itu,sejak aku diberitahu mengenai perkara ini,aku cuba sedaya upaya utk belajar sendiri dan mendapatkan notes2 lepas dari super senior........

Ape2pun,belajar sendiri tidak akan sama dengan belajar daripda otai2....pagi ini,aku berkesempatan belajar cara mengajar daripada kak Dayana (otai mathII SHF1124).....how to make students understand the topic,what I'm supposed to tell student during the lesson,why students not suppose to memorize all the things blindly etc.....so many things I can learn from Kak Dayana & also Kak Salina.....(also otai mathII SHF 1124)....

Walaupun hanya sekejap (lebih kurang 30min) aku belajar dari mereka (itupun secara x sengaja,sementara tunggu meeting start),aku akui dan sangat mengagumi mereka....pengalaman mengajar math lebih 10 thn membuatkan mereka sangat expert dalam menjawab soalan2,membuat soalan dan juga expert dalam memahamkan student mengenai topik tu sendiri.......

Probability is one of the topic that is too abstract for me.......bak kata kak Dayana,we need to be good in visualising all the things coz it cannot be show juz by the formula or working.......students cannot answer the probability question juz by memorizing all the formulas in this topic coz different question have ways to answer eventhough it still in the same topic or using the same formula.......

Dari dulu aku xsuke ajar topic ni......sejak aku form 4 sampailah aku start mengajar pelajar SPM sejak 2 thn lepas......aku akan cuba sedaya upaya skip tajuk probability ni.............

It is hard for me to teach this subject during short semester especially.....since short semester only covered in 7 weeks,it will makes the lecturer become too bz with preparing the tutorial and quizzes question, finish up all the silibus......I hope that I can do it and can make my students understand this topic better........I will do my best and hope that Allah give me the strength to face the coming situation.....
